Easter Art Exhibition
The Dorrigo Easter Art Exhibition celebrates and showcases the diverse artistic talent of people on the Dorrigo Plateau and has been a flagship event since 1990. Application is open to residents of the beautiful Dorrigo Plateau 2453.
Winners in the following sections 1 to 6 are awarded $250; section 7 will receive a non-cash prize.

Venue: The Never Never Mind 16 Cudgery Street, Dorrigo
Theme: ‘Being Here Now’
This theme invites artists to contemplate what it means for them:
At a personal level: Who am I? How do I relate to my immediate world around me?
Broader issues of global concern eg climate change, environmental issues, floods, fires, pandemics, housing crises, war, racism.
Or their unique, personal artistic journey & exploration expressed through mediums, processes & theories.
Please note that the theme ‘Being Here Now’, is intended as inspiration for your artwork but is not a requirement of the subject.

Delivery of artworks and merchandise Sunday 24 March 9am to 12noon to the Never Never Mind 16 Cudgery Street, Dorrigo
Opening night Wednesday 27th March 6.30pm
Exhibition dates Thursday 28 March to Saturday 6 April
Collection of unsold works and merchandise Sunday 7 April 9am to 12noon
MERCHANDISE:
Sales of merchandise which are reproductions of the artist’s work are encouraged at DEAE.
Fee: No entry fee for merchandise.
Commission: Commission on sales of merchandise is 15% for volunteers, 20% for others.

This is a wonderful opportunity to have one of your artworks professionally photographed/ reproduced to then be able to create your own merchandise from greeting cards to mugs, tea towels etc.
The costs will be shared so you only have to pay $69. The fee for a private artwork copy session is $275 for lighting setup and production plus $50 per artwork copied, so this is a significant saving. Depending on demand there may be opportunities to request more than one image.
